Kerry Robertson’s story… too stupid to marry and have a baby?

Kerry Robertson and Mark McDougall first came to me last September. Then their church wedding had been cancelled because social workers believed Kerry, who was already expecting Mark’s baby, was too stupid to understand the wedding vows.
And if that wasn’t bad enough, a few weeks later, because of Kerry’s learning difficulties, social workers threatened to take their baby away.
They fled abroad.
But, when their baby Ben, was born, he was still taken away anyway.
Fortunately, the couple now have their baby back. Kerry is living with him in a mother and baby home and hopes to show social workers just what a good mum she is.
Their emotional story has been sold to the Daily Mail newspaper several times, the Sunday Mirror and Love It magazine. They have also appeared on GMTV.
