Sell your X Factor story …

I love selling X Factor stories just as much as I enjoy watching X Factor myself. And as we begin the countdown to the big final, if you have an X Factor story to sell now is the time to consider selling it…

Last year I sold no less than THREE X Factor stories to the national press. First up was Tim Bland whose story about how he was in a band with Danyl Johnson was placed with THE SUN and the SUNDAY PEOPLE newspapers. Then I sold Katie’s story about how she used to go out with one X Factor contestant. Her exclusive X Factor story was printed in the SUNDAY MIRROR and DAILY MAIL newspapers. And I even sold a story for Simon Cowell’s sister June! June’s story was sold to THE MAIL ON SUNDAY newspaper.
An anonymous friend of Leon Jackson, who won X Factor in 2007, also came to sell my story site Featureworld to sell a story. This interviewee maintained his anonymity and his exclusive scoop appeared the Sunday after Leon Jackson’s win and made the front page of THE SUNDAY STAR. It also appeared in THE SUNDAY EXPRESS newspaper and the SUNDAY MIRROR.

X Factor is so popular that any story about a contestant – even an old photo of them at school! – is potentially saleable to the national newspapers. And many publications will also pay for anonymous tips so you might not even need to be named.

So if you want to sell an X Factor story, and you are looking for an experienced ‘X Factor media agent’ then naturally I would love to hear from you!
