Yesterday my interviewee, Rebecca and her mum Angela appeared in Fabulous magazine, which is the glossy supplement that comes with the News of the World newspaper.
Their true life story appeared in a special mother’s day feature about how mums have helped their daughters.
Rebecca and Angela travelled to London for a special glamorous photo shoot in a studio. Rebecca told me Fabulous gave them an amazing day to remember and the result – stunning photos – were there to see in the feature that went over four pages. The article was also a wonderful way for Rebecca, who gave birth to her son aged 14, to thank her mum for giving up her job to look after him. Her selfless act meant Rebecca could return to school to gain ten GCSEs and three A levels.
