Whatever you think about the Mail, you cannot fault its huge array of news stories covered from celebrity to science and technology, it even has a special page for US news.

Excellent website for anyone contemplating working within the television industry – full of tips and first person experiences written by well-known people within television. It is also run by a seasoned television executive who really knows her stuff – so you can trust the advice.
Listing section for freelancers and good solid advice on those legal niggles about freelancing – particularly filing a tax return, accounting, copyright and other issues.
Despite the difficulty navigating this huge site – its 2000 plus pages could do with a redesign – you cannot beat the massive array of advice on this site. It covers all types of writing but if you are considering writing a novel, it is a must look at.
If you are working in the world of PR then this is an all-encompassing site full of jobs and industry news. It also has some interesting articles and tips for journalists.
