Featureworld.co.uk received yet another card from a wellwisher for Kerry Robertson, who recently gave birth to Ben. Kerry was the mum whose story was recently in the Daily Mail newspaper. Her baby was taken away from her four days after birth because social workers deemed her too stupid to be a mum.
Thankfully Ben was returned after two weeks on the condition that Kerry was monitored with Ben in a mother and baby unit. Kerry and Ben are still in the mum and baby home, where Kerry is still being monitored. Kerry told me today that Ben is thriving and has put on lots of weight. She is tired but thoroughly enjoying motherhood. Fortunately, she doesn’t have to stay in the home all day and is able to take Ben out for lots of walks Meanwhile dad Mark is visiting regularly. The family hope that they will be reunited soon.
