TOP TIPs: Set up a media business for free

Blog readers can now nominate their favourite Mum and Dad blogs in 20 award categories, celebrating the diversity and popularity of parent blogs. TOP TIPs: Set up a media business for freeShortlisted finalists will be announced in May, and the winners of the awards, which are sponsored by Parentdish.co.uk, will be revealed at an awards ceremony in September.

The MAD Blog Awards winners will be chosen by a public vote, with the exception of the MAD Blogger of the Year, who will be selected from the finalists by a judging panel.

Sally Whittle, founder of the MAD Blog Awards and a parent blogger said: “The MAD Blog Awards are the biggest and most exciting awards for UK parent blogs, and we’re thrilled to be back with more categories, more prizes and more surprises for our third year. Blogging is a fantastic, fun and inspiring hobby for parents, and our awards are the perfect way to recognise, and celebrate their achievements.”

There are more than 5,000 active parent bloggers in the UK today*, sharing everything from parenting tips to recipes, craft activities and creative writing.
